Lynne Elkin, Cal State East Bay professor emerita biology, will review Humphrey Bogart’s many classic encounters with women protagonists. Beginning with the relatively unknown Petrified Forest, followed by the Maltese Falcon, and she will finish part one with Casablanca. See how the changing image of women works to tie these films together. It's lights, camera, action, and more sociological insights!

This event is offered over three dates beginning on Wednesday, July 13 at 6:15pm by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) program at the Reutlinger Community for Jewish Living in Danville. Visit the OLLI Web site for more information or to register for the program.
